'Snowdrop' tells the love story of Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In), a North Korean spy disguised as a university student and Eun Young Ro (Jisoo), a student majoring in English.
BLACKPINK's Jisoo (BLACK PINK) and Jung Hae In recently had an interview with foreign media discussing their roles in "Snowdrop". One of the topics discussed was the main couple's difficulties when acting.
Jung Hae In said, "I always think about how to show Su Hoo's identity to the audience in different situations. I consulted with the director a lot. Regarding the balance of Su Hoo's character that he must have because he doesn't face this alone," said Jung Hae In.
"But the woman he loves also goes through difficult times with him. Jisoo and I always talk about this during rehearsals and use it in dramas. It's something we do together and it feels really good," added Jung Hae In.
"Yeong Ro faced and showed various emotions from episode 1 to episode 16, which was the hardest thing for me. Because I always kept my feelings to myself when I was going through difficult times," said Jisoo.
"While Young Ro is not afraid to show it off and deal with those feelings, I try hard to show his personality in the most natural way. Because that part of his is very different from mine," added Jisoo.
Jisoo also revealed interesting things that make "Snowdrop" different from other dramas. "Actually, I didn't know this before. Because this was my first drama. But everyone kept saying, 'This is a very special project' and 'They've never filmed like this anywhere else'," said Jisoo.
"When watching the scene itself, I was amazed by the realism of the drama set. It reminded me of how I felt during filming and gave me a new impression of acting. I hope the audience will enjoy it too," added Jisoo.
